I recently discovered two different ways to earn passive income. I heard about this from another blogger friend and decided to try it. She raved about it and said it was easy and rewarding.
First of all, I don’t like to spend a lot of money on advertising, so this caught my attention. I tried Google AdSense. This is an advertising placement service by Google. The program is designed for website publishers who want to display targeted text, video or image advertisements on website pages and earn money when site visitors view or click the ads.
It sounds so simple and it is. You simply sign up. They even walk you through the sign up process with suggestions for setup. They give you an HTML code and you place that on your website. That’s all you have to do.
When someone clicks on the advertisement, you begin to earn money. Your money accumulates and when you acquire a specified amount of money, it is deposited in your bank account. It is that easy and an additional way to earn passive income. It provides you with incentive to make your website the best it can be, because the more people that visit your website, the greater the chance that they will also click on one of the advertisements that pop up and then is a chance that they will not only buy from you, but click on one of the ads.
The second way to earn money is to use Google AdWords. Google AdWords is an advertising service by Google for businesses wanting to display ads on Google and its advertising network. The AdWords program enables businesses to set a budget for advertising and only pay when people click on the ads. The ad service is largely focused on keywords, so SEO is important, because it directs potential customers to the ad.
This type of ad provides more control, because the better your ad is, the better the chance that someone will click on it. If they do, then you pay for the click, but you are also in a great position to make a sale or at least generate interest in your product or service.
My blogger friend has been using Google AdSense for over a year and she claims she’s made a tidy sum of money just from that kind of advertising. I’ve just recently started using AdSense, so I don’t have any way to rate this system, but it’s easy to set up and eventually, I will get some extra money, so it’s a win-win for me.
I’m always looking for ways to network and advertise without costing a lot of money. Google has come up with two great ways to get the word out AND make money. Either way, it’s another way to get your product or service noticed and bring people to your website.
What forms of advertising do you use?
